What is Equine Reiki in Dorset?

What to Expect in a Treatment
Reiki is offered to the horse, never forced. Horses are naturally attuned to energy, and often respond by stepping into the session, sometimes placing their nose into my hands.
Your horse may reposition themselves, indicating where healing is needed most. Sessions include a mix of hands-on and hands-off techniques, depending on the horse’s comfort and preference.
Some horses may choose not to receive Reiki on a given day, which is always respected. Signs your horse is benefiting include licking, yawning, deep sighs, or falling asleep. Sessions typically last up to 60 minutes and end when your horse chooses to move away from the energy.
Can I Ride My Horse After Reiki?
Like humans, horses need rest after Reiki. They may feel sleepy or relaxed. Please allow them time to process the healing energy with access to water, food, and space to rest.
How Long Is a Treatment and What Does It Cost?
Each session lasts 30–60 minutes. A course of 2–6 sessions is often recommended.
